Sketched on printmaking paper using pencil and marker.
The final garment includes a fully lined tulle bodice with hand pleated detailing and hand sewn tulle appliques atop the bust. The pleating process took around 24 hours to complete and experimentation with fabric led to the use of tan, champagne, and peach tulle combined to create an ombre effect spanning from center front to center back.
